Modern medical technology in Kakujou Youkou’s world enables the effortless substitution of any human organ. Though the Ame No Tori, otherwise referred to as the “Rain of Birds,” supports these breakthroughs, their true objectives are appalling – the novel technology takes over the host and converts them into a deadly weapon. To curb these merciless machines, the Jackalope task force was formed with the aim of halting these wanton murderers before they can cause more destruction. This is where Youkou’s journey commences.
